Ford’s small-car concept, the Reflex, sure is edgy, sleek and eco-friendly and there can’t be a better combination. It has a hybrid engine (which means different fuels diesel, electricity and solar power –run it).It also has solar panels (that power head and tail lights and other fittings) and flexible interior made from regenerated materials. The Reflex’s energy is stored in a lithium-ion battery, the same technology that cell phone use. Here’s a great concept –the Reflex uses rubber from scarp sneakers, called Nike Grind, as insulation to reduce noise and vibration inside the car. Its futuristic dashboard feature touch-screen technology. And, ofcourse, it has those cool reverse butterfly doors you see in sports cars.
